Academic Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • A Postgraduate degree (e.g., MA, MSc, MBA) in a relevant course is an added advantage.

Work Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in sales and marketing, business development executive, or a similar role within the media industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies across multiple platforms.
  • Extensive experience in team leadership and the ability to inspire and manage a diverse sales and marketing team.
  • Demonstrated experience in partnership development, negotiation, and management.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Exceptional strategic thinking and planning abilities.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Lead Generation: Drive lead generation efforts through proactive outreach, networking, and relationship building with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders to expand Nairametrics’ client base.
  • Client Engagement: Foster and nurture relationships with existing clients to identify opportunities, enhance client satisfaction, and drive revenue growth through repeat business.
  • Partnership Development: Identify and forge strategic partnerships with corporate clients and stakeholders to broaden Nairametrics’ market reach and enhance brand visibility.
  • Marketing Campaigns: Develop and implement targeted marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing, social media, email marketing, and events, to amplify brand awareness and attract new customers.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies, and provide marketing support by crafting sales collateral, presentations, and proposals.
  • Team Leadership and Management: Lead and manage the sales team, providing strategic guidance, coaching, and support to ensure alignment with marketing initiatives and revenue goals.
